READY TO ATTEND SENECA?


To help you make sure your arrival and stay in Canada is as problem-free as possible, we've prepared a checklist below of essential items you should plan on bringing to or acquiring in Toronto.

Documentation

Student Visa
Letter of Acceptance
Medical Certificate
- immunization record
- updated current medical history
- relevant Medical Issues and listing of Medications
Passport
Address/Telephone of Canadian residence
If you intend to apply for Advanced Standing, bring your School Academic Calendar with detailed subject descriptions and an Official Academic Transcript.
Note: request forms for Advanced Standing should be made prior to the semester start and no later than two weeks after the beginning of the semester.

If you intend to work part time while studying at Seneca, bring any Letters of Reference from employers in your Home country (on Official Company Letterhead) detailing the type of work performed, duties and responsibilities, length of employment and a valid contact name and phone number.

Bank Information
A small amount of Canadian or U.S. funds for your first few days in Canada. Your family can Bank Wire Transfer you additional funds once your Canadian bank account has been established.
