Subject Title
Fashion Marketing Communications

Subject Description
This subject examines the planning and management of an integrated marketing communications mix.
Components of the plan which include media advertising, direct response communications, interactive communications, sales promotions, public relations, sponsorships, and alternative marketing will be explored.  Branding and the role it plays in marketing communications will also be examined.

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this subject the student will be able to:

  1. Integrate the components of a marketing communications mapping plan (IMC) including: advertising, sales promotions, public relations, direct marketing, and personal selling;
  2. Apply the concept of branding in marketing communications;
  3. Create and evaluate a communication plan mapping;
  4. Identify the role of digital marketing and traditional media channels in marketing communications;
  5. Establish a marketing communication budget;
  6. Introduce the role of alternative marketing and the variety of methods in the growing media.
