Subject Title
Decision Analysis II

Subject Description
The student will use a personal computer-based database management system and spreadsheet software to independently solve business management problems using the case method.  The Internet will be used to access learning materials and submit assignments.

Credit Status
One credit.

Note: This is a mandatory subject for students in the School of Business Management, Management Specialization.

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this subject the student will be able to:

  1. Create queries and reports by using database management software.
  2. Construct formulas and functions in spreadsheet software to generate information for decision making.
  3. Use data analysis tools in spreadsheet software to forecast and project trends.
  4. Generate graphic representations of data using spreadsheet software to visualize information.
  5. Analyze information to make recommendations.
