Small Business Tools: Web Design & Digital Portfolio

Subject Description
This business course is an introduction to Web Design with Dreamweaver and (X)HTML. Students will produce a portfolio based website that will promote and market their skills as a freelance illustrator.
Pre-requisite: ILU201, ILU207, and EAC150.

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this subject the student will be able to:

1. Create a digital portfolio that exemplifies their personal style and quality of their work
2. Manage a digital portfolio using appropriate file resolution and format
3. Utilize the basic skills developed within Dreamweaver to create a personal website
4. Demonstrate an understanding of portfolio hubs, blogs and self promotion
5. Respond constructively and professionally to giving and receiving critical feedback in the process of evaluating work.
