Portfolio Preparation

Subject Description
Students will prepare their portfolios to a professional level. The purpose of this course is to enable the student to make a smooth transition from an academic to a work environment. A professional level portfolio will allow the students to solicit employment in the design industry.

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this subject the student will be able to:

  1. Develop an understanding of communication strategies for their future clients.  

  2. Create effective, original and innovative Environmental Graphic Design solutions.  

  3. Visually and verbally articulate their design ideas. 

  4. Prepare professional presentations.
  5. Create outstanding creative samples for a graphic design portfolio.

Execute mathematical operations accurately.

Apply a systematic approach to solve problems.

Use a variety of thinking skills to anticipate and solve problems.
